In 2009, I was a part of a communications group in an organization where I worked so there this first session was to speak about yourself. This article was written then but obviously has changed with times. Lot of people actually think "what is it to write about yourself???" it is just so simple. But actually when I sat down to pen my thoughts & memories, I realized that more than a Quarter of my life is already over and summing up these 27 years 5 months and 29 days in a article of not more than 6 minutes is actually tough. But never mind, I did try and so let's begin from the beginning FLASH BACK 27 years ago....
"Born into a upper-middle class family Karuna was the most awaited child as she was the first kid to be born in her parents generation. Being the eldest, she enjoyed the love and affection of all. Went to a co-ed school for the first few years of her initial education and then shifted to a convent school. Talking about all the incidents of the school life would be a bit too time consuming so jumping to the year 1998 when a guy came as a PG in the opposite wing of Karuna's house. She was not aware of the PG, until her neighbor told her about him and first gaze of this Merchant Navy Engineer she thought she was in love.
This guy was also responsive to these Two Teen's Signals and both girls were on Cloud 9 fighting amongst themselves for this guy to discover that the Guy ran away with a girl staying on the floor below Karuna's house. That was the first heartbreak.
School got over and then came the most awaiting period of any teenager that is the College Life. 11th Standard was just a period of understanding what a college is all about and 12th was a busy year for this Science Student. Poor Gal had classes and Tutions to attend throughout the year. When results for 12th Standard were out, her Mom wanted her to get into a Software Course as it was at its peak at that time. First year was the time when she was introduced to College - Youth Politics and it was so fascinating that she could not resist herself and became a part of it. College life came to end in this politics & cultural activities.
She was a graduate. Now a new dawn for her life. She was working as a Project Coordinator for a Management Institute. In Dec 2005, she joined V2Solutions in GraceNote Section. Not too late she met a guy and seeing him piano's played for her. YES! She was in LOVE with a guy who was also a part of V2Solutions. Soon they decided that they would want to get married and have kids. That was a period when she was on Cloud 10 and she started behaving like any heroine in a HINDI Movie would do. Life was a Fairy Tale like, but suddenly after 2 years, one day reality came to its peak and that guy walked away. No Reasons, No Calls, No Contact... Karuna's family and V2 were her strongest support at that time. One and half year after that every alternate day and weekends she was introduced to a new guy or shown his photograph by her friends & family. But she was not ready to get into another relation to get out of one. Best option was to work, work and work spend 12-13 hours in office.
July 2008, that was the time when she was introduced to this guy called Aditya and in 7 days she was sure that she wanted to spend her life with him. December 2008 they got engaged and on 9th December 2009 they got married. It has been 1 and half year today that they have been happily married and fall in love with each other more and more with each passing day."
This was all about Karuna i.e. "Me". Today when I look back at life I see a lot of happy moments and some sad times too, but in the end there is a smile on my face when I share all this with you. This is KARUNA for U!
